ABOUT ME

Amy Qin is originally from Shanghai, China. She received her B.S. in chemical engineering from Case Western Reserve University with summa cum laude in 2019. She also completed a data science minor and a music minor along with her degree. Amy joined the Van Lehn group in Fall 2019, co-advised with the Zavala group.

RESEARCH INTEREST

With the advances in computational power and optimization algorithms, artificial intelligence has the potential to achieve many research goals faster with less material and energy consumption, especially in chemical engineering or a related field. To be more specific, I am interested in exploring machine learning techniques and their applications in various areas such as chemical property analysis and molecular dynamics simulation.
