The group is excited to be part of the new Center for Mineral and Mineral Oxide Removal from Biomass (CMORE)! CMORE will develop methods to convert biomass and municipal solid waste into demineralized and nitrogen-free biogenic pellets using a combination of experimental and computational approaches, and will be led by George Huber and Styliani Avraamidou. The Van Lehn group will lead the development of computational protocols to guide the development of mineral removal processes.
Thank you to Schmidt Sciences and the Foundation for Food & Agricultural Research for the support.
