Yicheng Li was born and raised in Yunnan, China. He received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2022 and completed his M.S. in Chemical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in 2023, where he worked with Professor Stephen Garoff and Professor Robert Tilton. In Fall 2024, Yicheng joined the Van Lehn group, co-advised by the Zavala group. Beyond his research, he enjoys listening to music, running, and biking.
